Vd Berg Hytuna was founded by Jo vd Berg in 1920. Jo vd Berg has made many tulip varieties such as Strong Gold, Yellow Baby, Yokohama, White Dream, Ballerina, Upstar and many others.

In 1920 Hyacinths, Tulips and Daffodils were grown, which is why the name Hytuna was chosen at that time.
